This training course is based on the latest industry Standards and Regulations. It focuses on workplace electrical safety and the identification of electrical hazards of arc flash and shock for workers who work alongside electrical workers, but do not actually perform energized electrical work tasks (Non-Electrical Workers).
The course will introduce Non-Electrical Workers to general electrical safety rules and principles. The course is an awareness level course with respect to energized equipment and the electrical hazards of shock and arc flash. Participants will review normal and abnormal conditions of energized electrical equipment, identify and understand electrical specific personal protective equipment (PPE), tools and equipment.
Course Duration: 4 hours (8:30 am-12:30 pm EST)
Certification: 3 years
